I am starting a new non fiction book that is called bullying under attack, this book doesn't have one author because it has lots of "true stories" writen by victims, bullies and bystanders. I had read a 10 short stories were the victim had suffer a lot because they are yelled fat and whale. The best thing that the bullies had done is to put a stop and tell an adult. In all the situations the adult has help the victim with the problem. There has also been bully stories where the bully has to confront his mistakes. The bullies recognize their mistake and they regret for it.
"Of course, at that point my mom got involved, which meant that the other girls parents were notified" (Burnholdt 12).
When you have a bully problem is always good to defend your self by telling an adult about your problem. I had hear a lot of thing to prevent bulling and if I will be bullying I will probably do what this girl did. I had once got a friend who was bullied and he told his mother about it and then her mother end the problem.
"It was from Adams dad, and it contained a picture of Adams exposed back, covered in red marks. I was forced to face my mistakes head on."(Hwang 50).
In this quote the bulling is receiving pictures from the victim. When I read that I was really in shock, I couldn't believe that a kid could damage they way a kid. I also notice they the adults always help solve problems because the victims father send the letter to the bully.
I'm really liking this book because it teach me lessons and I know what is best if I have a bulling problem. This book has make me realize they bulling is one of the awful things that exists. I don't know what stories I will find out on my next reading but I know that they will be interesting. I can tell, just by reading this first pages, that this book is a lesson book that everyone should read.
