This weeks chapters start when Matt discovered that the thing that cut Dravids' head off was a dinosaur fossil. As Matt and the journalist scape the ribs of a big dinosaur trapped the journalist named Richard. Mrs.Deverill appeared and took Matt and Richard to an abandon power station were the villagers were trying to open the Ravens Gate. The last step of the ritual to open the gate was to kill Matt but when Matt was about to be killed his powers appeared and he stop the knife that was going to kill him. Matt and Richard scape from the power station that blow up. Finally an agent that worked with Dravid went to Richards house and told them that Matt was going to stay with him and also that on Peru was another Ravens Gate.
"A pterodactyl. Except that it wasn't quite a pterodactyl. It was the fossil skeleton of a pterodactyl, an x-ray version, weird together and put on display at the Natural History Museum."(Horowitz 200)
A dinosaur skeleton alive? I think that this was too much imagination. I don't like the fact that a fossil takes lives, I think this is the only thing I don't like about the book.
"I live on Lima. In Peru. It is the reason why I was chosen to visit you today. There is evidence that another gate exists in my country. It may be that I have to invite you there." (Horowitz 253)
Uh oh... When I first read this, my first thought was about a next book. Then I thought about the story and I got worried because Matt didn't want to destroy Ravens Gate again. If there is a next book I don't know if Matt is going to be the protagonist again or maybe another kid with powers will be the protagonist. I have lots of questions to make and I will love to read a second book.
This book was awesome. I loved it but the only think I didn't liked was when the dinosaurs fossils were alive. I will recommend this book to the people that like suspense because the story gives you hints of what will happened later and it is very difficult to make a prediction. This book is a page-turner because it is very difficult to stop reading. each time that I make a pause on the story to make a post I got anxious because I want to continue with the reading.
