From Good To Awesome

Summary
For this week reading the book is getting better than before, and my prediction was right: Alex didn’t died he was acting to escape. Before anybody him he entered Damian Cry´s room and stole the hard drive of his computer where all the information o his plan was. Before anybody notice him, he escaped and was searched in all the city by Yassen people. They didn’t find him so they decide to use a plan B. They kidnapped Alex´s friend called Sabina and thread to kill her if he didn’t gave the hard drive back, He had to give the hard drive to Cry.

Interesting Thought Through Out The Book
“He was bruised, filthy, and lucky to be alive. He just wondered how he was going to explain all this to Jack.”(Horowitz 112).

The author shows Alex´s lucky he had in the escape from Yassen agents to make the reader see that Alex is not invincible just because is the primary character. This makes easier for the reader to understand that everybody needs help and luck.

Yassen opened the scissors. Sabina had suddenly gone very quiet and still. Her eyes pleaded with Alex” (Horowitz 195).

In this quote Yassen is threading Alex with cutting off a finger to Sabina but why do they do that? Don’t they had a conscience of common sense? I don’t know why this people are so crazy.

Final Ideas And Conclusions
This reading was pretty exciting and interesting. I read this pages really fast and didn’t notice all the time I had spent reading it because of the good the story was. I don’t think Cry will stay with the hard drive because Alex is too clever and smart to lose it. I can’t wait to see what will happened next and if Damian Cray´s plan will succeed.

This Can Not Be

Summary

For this week reading Alex decided to follow a track he had that will lead him to Damian Cray to see if he was guilty or if he wasn’t. Alex travel to Paris where he joined with Marc Antonio, a painter, who had information about where Damian Cray was, they heard gunshots and they run. Marc Antonio didn’t survive just Alex. Alex used marc´s info to enter a big building where he found Yassen Gregorovich and Damian Cray. When Damian Discovered Alex he put him in a real life version of the game Alex played in the game launch. Alex completed four of the five stages of the game when he suddenly was found dead, covered with blood by the guards.

Interestin Thoughts Through Out The Book

“Marc Antonio Was Death but he had given Alex another piece of the puzzle.”(Horowitz 112)
When I read this I thought about other book that Horowitz had written were a person who helps the principal character is killed. I think that this two book have more than this connection and the author is doing this on purpose. I think is an interesting connection that I have found and is from the same author.

“More blood trickled out of his mouth. His eyes closed and he pitched to one side. He didn’t move again” (Horowitz 150).
This quote was when Alex was entering the fifth stage. I can’t belie that the author had killed the main character. I don’t think Alex is death because I am still half the way through the book and the book can’t stay without a principal character.

Final Ideas And Conclusions

This book is getting even better than before with each mystery that the author add. This story is a page turner because I don’t want to stop reading. I don’t think that the author is killing Alex. I want to know if he is just acting or if he is death.

Secret Agency

Summary
For this week reading Alex return to England were we told everything what had happened to his secret agency he worked in The MI6. The suspicion he had was about a millionaire singer who was called Damian Cray. Alex was not supported my MI6 so he decided to go and search for him in his own. He found him in a game launch event that was about war but the interesting thing was that Cray didn’t like violence or anything that damage the planet.

Interesting Thoughts Through Out the Book
“´Don’t worry, ´ Alex said. ´The royal and General Bank doesn´t exist. That´s just the sign they put on the doors.’”(Horowitz 60)

Image result for good ideaIn this quote the MI6 is hiding their headquarters while making it look like a bank. The author is trying to make the story interesting and realistic by adding this sign. This sign is the simplest and most useful protection a secret base can have and the author is using it just as it has to be.

Image result for they are hiding something meme
“´Absolutely not.´ Blunt picked up the pieces of paper and crumpled it. ´The less Alex Rider Knows about Yassen Gregorovich, the better.´”(Horowitz 75)

In this quote I can see that the MI6 is hiding things from Alex and the author wants to crate suspense by not telling us what it is. I really like the way that the author is creating suspense in a lot of parts of the book just to keep you in reading it.

 Final Ideas And Conclusions

This reading was like the first one: Excellent. I really like how the story is design and all the mystery there is around Alex Rider. I think that maybe Damian Cray is the one who planned the attack in France and soon Alex will discover it. This book is much better than the one before and I think that it will continue this way until I finish with it.

Great Book, Even Better Protagnist

Summary
I had star a new book that is called Eagle Strike. This book is about a adolescent spy who is in following his enemy in France. Yassen, his Russian enemy, exploded a bomb that injured the an Alex's friends dad. The young spy followed his enemy into a boat where he is captured. Alex was told that to be free he will need to survive 10 minutes with a bull, he survived but when he finished the boat and Yassen where gone.

Interesting Thoughts through out the Book
"He was a fourteen year old English schoolboy with sand in his hair and suntan. They will take a look at him and laugh"(Horowitz 16)

I think made the principle character a teenager to catch young kid to read this book because they will compare their self to the main character. I also find it interesting that his enemy is a grown up and not a teen as him

"If he had been an adult approaching the boat, it would have been a different matter; the fact that he was only fourteen was the main reason he had been so useful to MI6. People didn't notice him until it was too late."(Horowitz 29)

With this quote the author illustrate the idea that being a kid is really good and not only for this reason but for all the creativity and innocence they have. I can tell that until this point the book´s theme is ´being a kid is the best thing ever´.

Final Ideas And Conclusions
This book has been better than the last one I had read and I am really liking it. Eagle strike had plenty of action and is it a book for adolescents. I can tell this because the main character: Alex is 14 years old. I really want to continue reading to discovers what will Alex do to find Yassen and what will happened to his friend's dad.
